Mass to welcome Archbishop Antonio Mennini as the new Nuncio
Due to the celebration of this special Mass there will be no Vespers at Westminster Cathedral on 14 March.
Anniversary Mass for Our Lady of Walsingham
Westminster Cathedral's website also announces that Archbishop Vincent Nichols will be marking the 950th anniversary of the "Walsingham apparition" with a celebration of Solemn Mass on Saturday 26 March at 2:00pm.
Our Lady appeared in a vision to a Saxon noblewoman from Walsingham, called Richeldis de Faverches, in 1061. Lady Richeldis then built a replica of the Holy House at Nazareth, having been instructed to do so by Our Lady. Since then, Walsingham has been known as "England's Nazareth", and the Blessed Virgin Mary received a new title: "Our Lady of Walsingham."
The present-day Catholic Shrine at the Slipper Chapel in Walsingham has its own website (here).
What a co-incidence (or as a friend of mine would say, "God-incidence!") that the historic Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham was set up exactly 950 years after Our Lady's apparition to Lady Richeldis de Faverches!
According to Westminster Cathedral, all are welcome to attend both events.

(Update 16/3/11: For reports on these events please see here and here)
Update 11/3/11: According to the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham's website (here): The image from the Slipper Chapel will be carried into the Cathedral at the beginning of Mass followed by our three ‘Walsingham Sisters’ and the Guardians of the Anglican Shrine. This will be an excellent example of Anglicans and Catholics honouring Our Lady together and I hope that those of you who can make it will be there.

Wonderful news! That Mary's Dowry may return to the Faith.
It would be a thoughtful gesture to issue a special invitation to all those who have or are about to embrace the Catholic faith under the aegis of the Ordinariate to attend the Mass on the 26th in the presence of the new Nuncio.
@ Genty
I'm sure that the Ordinary for the Ordinariate will have been invited. Hopefully, many who are preparing to enter into full communion with the Church will come along.
I'm sure the Ordinary will have been invited. Given the link between the Ordinariate and Our Lady of Walsingham it would be thoughtful, as I say, to make it a special invitation to the laity as well rather than just hope they would come along.
It would have been even better had this been an opportunity for the members and potential members of the Ordinariate to meet the Nuncio and Archbishop Nichols after the Mass.
Just thinking aloud.
