Welcoming a new Catholic blog: De Maria, numquam satis

One of the participants at last Saturday's Guild of Blessed Titus Brandsma's meeting in Blackfen was a young man called Jimin. After mentioning that he often posts about Catholicism on his Facebook page, he went on to express a desire to start his own blog - one that would be specifically Marian in perspective and devotion.

Well, I am now very glad to announce that Jimin has taken the plunge, and launched his new blog today. It is called De Maria, numquam satis.

This is an excellent title for a blog - Of Mary, there is never enough! As far as I know, this expression was first used by the Church's Mellifluous Doctor, St Bernard of Clairvaux. Since then, many other great saints - including one of my personal favourites, St Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort - have also shared the same sentiment, reminding us that one can never have enough of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Although Jimin lives in London, he is originally from Korea, which makes De Maria, numquam satis quite international in character.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best in his blogging venture!
